The President and Vice-President of Conference have released a prayer for peace in Israel-Palestine – you can read it here. In solidarity with the call for prayer in these statements, Hinde Street Methodist Church organised a prayer vigil for peace on Tuesday 17th October. Some passers-by called in and took the opportunity for stillness; church members were invited to pray wherever they were, and our Meditation group, meeting at lunchtime, reflected on the Universal Prayer for Peace. Thanks to all those who joined us. We will continue to keep those affected by the conflict in our prayers.
