Organ
Hinde Street is fortunately blessed with a large three-manual Pipe Organ by Bishop and Son. For more technical detail, you can download a pfd-file here. For an idea of how the Organ sounds, you can listen to two recordings of voluntaries taken on Sunday mornings down below.
Hinde Street is excited to have welcomed a new organist in 2025!

Hinde Street’s Choir
Most of the congregation travel to Hinde Street, which makes a weekly choir difficult as many strong singers are not always available – sometimes, they are even preaching elsewhere in the West London Mission Circuit! For occasions, Hinde Street is fortunate to enjoy a volunteer choir of anywhere between six and fifteen experienced singers.
Our previous organist Alexander frequently composes short pieces for the choir to sing. Here is a video taken during the farewell service for our previous Deacon Belinda Letby. The choir sang Alexander’s composition ‘Prayer for Belinda’ – you can download a PDF version of the score here.
Soloists are common, and the choir usually sings short anthems during communion. Here they are singing John Rutter’s ‘Gaelic Blessing’:
During the pandemic, the community at Hinde Street put together a few virtual choir projects for use in online services. Here we are singing John Rutter’s ‘Away in a Manger’ and ‘Candlelight Carol’.
