This December, Hinde Street members have been celebrating the holiday season in song.
At our annual Carol Service on December 17th, Hinde Street members came together with guests from the Marylebone community and the wider London area in a beautiful candlelit atmosphere. We started off the evening with a cup of warming mulled juice and a variety of festive treats, and began the service at 6:30pm. Through the night, we enjoyed musical numbers performed by our Music Director and the Hinde Street choir, and sang beloved carols all as one voice.

Hinde Street members have also been busy singing for charity. Following our annual Toy Service on December 10th, a group of carol singers headed to the Marylebone Christmas Market with a collection bucket in tow. Despite the rain, they were to raise £68 for All We Can, a Methodist relief and development charity. On Tuesday the 28th, we gathered again under the Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square, along with a group of singers from King’s Cross Methodist Church. This time, we raised over £100 for All We Can.
You can find a collection of photos and videos from these occasions in our Christmas 2023 album here – make sure to check out videos from our Carol Service if you could not make it this year! The album will be updated with more photos from our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services soon.
Thanks to Paul Horrell for the photo featuring our Trafalgar Square singers.
