After the Flood: film viewing and panel discussion

Thank you all for attending the special viewing of the film After the Flood: The Church, Slavery & Reconciliation on Sunday 28th May. A special thank-you goes to the Taking-a-Stand group who organised this evening, as well as our wonderful panel members who contributed thought-provoking ideas in the discussion that followed. Thanks also to Paul Boateng for chairing the discussion.

After the Flood is a film by MJR, The Movement for Justice & Reconciliation. A Christian organisation, the aim of the MJR is ‘to raise awareness of the legacies of colonial slavery and industrial exploitation by gathering existing and commissioning new research, making the findings known through educational projects and seeking to resolve injustice, promote well-being and encourage community reconciliation in new and innovative ways.’
