On Saturday 30th September, a beautiful day, 27 friends from Hinde Street went on a day-long visit to Greenwich – some arrived in style by boat, others by bus and tube. We met for coffee overlooking the old naval college, before heading off to visit sites such as the Maritime Museum, the Cutty Sark, local churches or the market. With the wide variety of things to do around Greenwich, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The day ended with a cream tea.
This special outing gave people a chance to meet (some for the first time), chat, and get to know one another. A day of smiles, laughs, and conversation – thank God for it was good for the soul.
We hope to arrange more church outings in the future, so do let us know if you enjoyed this one.
