Disabled access

The Victorians who built Hinde Street have left us a beautiful building, but they also left us steps at every entrance! This means that while we have been able to make most of our spaces accessible and step-free, there are some limitations to consider.

Currently, our disabled accommodations include:

  • A lift from street level to the main floors and spaces. As you approach the front of the building on Hinde Street, you’ll see a gate to the right of the steps. Please ring the bell to be buzzed in.
  • Disabled access toilets.
  • Audio induction loops in the Church and Hall.

The parts of the building which are not step-free are the church balcony, Quiet Room, some offices, and both community flatshares. The Wesley Room is not accessible by wheelchair. Access to the Parlour is through two doors with a width of 705mm for wheelchairs.

If you’re coming to worship on a Sunday, please note that due to volunteer staff numbers, the lift is usually only operational for the 11am services.
