Hinde Street’s annual Pride Service is almost here! Join us at 11am on Sunday July 5th to hear from guest preacher Rev Peta Evans – you can read more about them and their work below. If you are attending London Pride the previous day, you can also spot a group of us in the crowd by our colourful banners – do come say hi!
Peta Evans is a non-binary trans person, and an ordained minister in the Metropolitan Community Church. Raised in a Methodist family, they retain a deep affection for the Methodist church but found their vocation in MCC because of its mission to heal wounds of exclusion from churches, and to enable LGBTQI people to learn to love themselves as they are without needing to distance themselves from their faith.

In addition to the guest sermon, the service will include a Pride blessing by Revd Sam Lundquist and a prayer by Gary Hopkins, creator of the Inclusive Communion Liturgy (LGBTQ+ Affirming).
