On Thursday October 23rd, a group from ViiV Healthcare volunteered their time to redecorate some of Hinde Street’s spaces, giving a fresh new look to both the Parlour and the Wesley Room (previously known as Room 3). We at Hinde Street are incredibly grateful for their day-long efforts, which the team took on with such kindness and enthusiasm.
In their own words, ViiV are an independent, globally operating healthcare company ‘committed to delivering innovative new medicines for the care and treatment of people living with HIV.’ You can read more about the critical work they do – spanning research, medicine manufacturing, prevention advocacy, community engagement, and more – on the ViiV website.
A huge thank you also to the team of volunteers from church – organised by Richard Shepley – who sanded and prepared the rooms on the preceding Saturday so that they were ready to be painted.
