March 5th is Ash Wednesday and the first day of Lent. We at Hinde Street will be marking this with our usual evening service with ashing on the forehead or hand. We hope to see you at 7pm!
On Palm Sunday, we will remember Christ's arrival at Jerusalem and hand out beautiful hand-made bamboo crosses. Welcome!
On the first three days of the Holy Week (14-16 April), we are open for quiet lunchtime prayer between 12:30-2pm. All are welcome to enter the chapel and pray or reflect!
On Maundy Thursday, we gather together to remember the Last Supper and to partake in Holy Communion.
On Good Friday, Hinde Street will host an afternoon vigil focusing on the Seven Last Words of Christ. These words will lead us to reflect on the themes of Forgiveness, Salvation, Relationship, Abandonment, Distress, Triumph, and Reunion.
On Easter Sunday, Hinde Street's 11am service will take the form of a celebration of the Resurrection. We will also partake in Holy Communion.
