Ways to get involved
Beyond participating in worship, there are many ways to support the life and work of Hinde Street Methodist Church. Whether you are a visitor who is keen to lend your support, or a regular who would like to contribute to the community – there’s something for everyone.
If you have a passion for assisting in an area not specified here, we are always interested in supporting those who want to get involved. Feel free to send us an email with your idea for contributing to Hinde Street Methodist Church.
If you are on Facebook or Twitter, please give us your support by following our pages and interacting with our posts (@hindestreet). The more people following and engaging with us, the further our posts will reach.

Donate moneyThis is the obvious one. As a stewardship church we rely on the generosity of our members and friends to continue our services to the community and cover operating costs. You can either set up regular giving or support us with a one-off donation.
Be a Joiner Vote with your feet: come to our groups, classes, public lectures and events. There are Tuesday meditations, Thursday Tea-Times, and Soul Food (for young adults), as well as classes (or fellowship groups) and the public lecture series named after Hugh Price Hughes.

Donate TimeWe are always looking for people to help with our outreach to those experiencing homelessness at Wednesday Club and (from December – March) at Winter Night Shelter. West London Mission also looks for volunteers with their projects.
Be a LeaderThere are a number of stewardship and administrative roles on committees and councils. If you want to be have your say in the innermost workings and decisions of the church, this is your chance.

Help at ServicesWe are so grateful to those helping with communion, reading, singing, organising flowers, serving tea and coffee, doing PA, and nurturing children at Junior Church. If you have a heart for helping at services, we would love to hear from you.
USe your talentsWe would love your support with content for the website or for our magazine, Crosscurrents – if there’s a story you think needs to be told, or if you have a gift for art, design or photography, we would love to have your input.
