The Redemption Cross appeared in Church on Remembrance Sunday. It is green to symbolise God's creation. In all seasons of the year we can still see green , evergreens and grass in Winter and Autumn and green leaves and shoots in Spring and Summer. The cross includes Autumn leaves. It also includes a poppy for Remembrance Sunday. To all those who lost their lives in wars we say, "God be with you eternally". God's promise of redemption is constant and eternal. Even in Jesus' last few hours on the cross, he promised redemption to the thief saying, "Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise."
